I honestly love the Dior Backstage range and love how it epitomizes the backstage life of a makeup artist. I’ll be talking about the Dior Face & Body Foundation and the new Powder-No-Powder compact. Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation – The range has 40 shades with 6 different undertones. The plastic bottle makes it super travel friendly and doesn’t take up much space. I love how build able this foundation is, you can opt for a light nude finish or build it up to a full coverage look. It looks great with hardly any powder if you want a soft focus dewy look however you can set it with powder for a velvet matte finish. The shade range is one of the best around as it’s not overly saturated with undertones or pigment. Your skin still looks like skin and most importantly, still feels like it can breath.

Dior Backstage Powder-No-Powder – This is something I’m pretty excited about. These powders are made with a gelled base and gives matte yet luminous finish to the skin. You have zero powder residue on the skin even after numerous touch ups – it just melts into the skin and evens out skin tone with a beautiful veil of color. It comes in around 10 shades ranging from neutral to deep. What I really love about this product is that it takes the Face & Body Foundation to a whole different level. It works so well with the foundation and was clearly made for it. You can also use the darker shades to sculpt the face and the finish is very soft and natural.

The shades that are suited my skin tone are as follows:

Face & Body Foundation – I alternate between 3W and 4WO. W is warm and WO is warm with an olive undertone.

Powder-No-Powder – I use 3N for overall setting and color and 4N for sculpting. N is neutral.
